Terms of Service
1. The service
MemLife lets you create permanent inscriptions — text, voice, and video — stored on distributed storage and anchored on the Arweave blockchain. "Permanent" means exactly that: immutable and undeletable, by design.
2. Immutability is a feature, not a bug
Once an inscription is confirmed, it cannot be edited or deleted by anyone — including you and including us. Do not inscribe anything you may want removed later. There is no undo.
3. Your coordinates are your keys
Your coordinate identifier is the only way to manage your inscriptions. If you lose it, access cannot be recovered. Store it safely.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not inscribe content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours: CSAM, incitement to violence, targeted harassment, malware, or copyright-infringing material you do not own;
- Do not attempt to abuse free quotas, scrape, or overload the service;
- Automated screening may block submissions that violate these rules before they are inscribed.
5. Fees & payments
The first inscription each year is free; additional inscriptions are charged per the pricing shown in-app. Paid but blocked-by-moderation content may be refunded on request. Payments are final otherwise, except where law requires refunds.
6. No warranty
The service is provided "as is". While permanence is the engineering goal — Arweave endowment-based storage is designed to outlast any company, including ours — we cannot guarantee absolute availability at every moment. Permanence guarantees immutability of confirmed inscriptions, not 100% uptime of any single access point.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding a claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
